Some MLM Tips To Help Your Mindset

One of the easiest ways to produce the result you are looking for is to find someone who is already producing the results you desire and model their process. I like to call it model marketing

Basically all you need to do is copy their exact process and if done exactly as they are doing it almost guarantees your success.

Below are a few MLM tips that some of the heavy hitters in our industry are doing. Most of the time the case is that these people are working their tails off and if you are not finding success you probably are not. Be honest with yourself.

MLM Tip #1 – MLM Is a Business

MLM is a business and you need to treat it as such. If you are not treating it as a business then you have the completely wrong mindset. Many people are treating this industry as a hobby. I was guilty of this in the past. Hobbies cost money. MLM pays you money!

MLM Tips #2 – Dedicate Time To Your MLM Business

You need to make sure that you are scheduling time to work your MLM busines.

You schedule everything else in your life that is important, do you not? You make time to go to work, right? If not, you wouldn’t make the money to pay the bills. You schedule and plan time for a vacation. You make time to sleep. You do this because all these things are important to you.

So, if breaking free of the rat race and creating wealth for you and your family is important than you absolutely have to schedule time for your home based business.

MLM Tips #3 – You Must Have Goals

Goals, Goals, Goals….

Of the 5 “MLM tips”, this is the most important to me. It is crucial to your success to have goals in place. If you do not have goals in place then what are you working towards?

Jot down your goals, put them on your desk so that you see them every time you sit down. Put them on a dry erase board so you can cross them off and add new ones as you work your way towards success.

Be practical and start small at first. Look at these goals every day because without them you’ll get side tracked very easy and you will lose focus. Without goals how will you ever know how to get where you are going?

I personally have daily weekly, monthly, and yearly goals written on a dry erase board. I try to accomplish these as best as possible. It is hard to keep up with the daily goals with the nuances of life. However, if you are serious about changing your life you will make it happen. End of story. Right?

MLM Tip #4 – Recruit, Recruit, Recruit

The only way you earn money in MLM, affiliate marketing, network marketing, etc is when you sell a product or service. Sponsoring and recruiting is the name of the game.

Focus most of your efforts on recruiting. Be on the phone with your leads. Most people will not sign up with your primary company simply by going through your sales funnel. You have to speak to them. This is a people business. You are paid for talking to people. Think about it. How cool is that? Getting paid to talk to people. Have a goal here as well. Make it your goal to talk to 5 people a day ,10 people a day. Whatever, just start somewhere. Start small and build as you go.

I personally make it a goal to get X amount of no’s a day. Don’t go for yes’s go for no’s. With so many no’s. The yes’s come automatically.

MLM Tip #5 – Present Your Product

MLM relies on your ability to present your product or service in an effective way. Know your company inside and out. Go through any training videos they may have. Think of questions you would have if someone presented the business to you. Make sure you can answer those questions. If you can not answer a question, be honest and offer to find out the answer and call them back.

You need to present effectively and you need people to present to. This means you need leads. Lots of leads, fresh leads on a daily basis. Consistent lead generation is essential if you want people to talk to and present to. Without leads you can not present to anyone, right? The more leads you have, the more successful you will be, if you talk to these people. That is the bottom line.

You need to take action and you have to teach others how to duplicate your efforts. If you need help generating leads, you need a system. I recommend MLSP.
